Grigorii Galkin

Born in the village of Hermanivka, Kharkiv Region, Galkin graduated from the Kharkiv Art Institute in 1951 and the Kyiv Art Institute in 1955. He was a member of the Artists Union of Soviet Ukraine. His works are held by the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Kharkiv Art Museum, and the L’viv Art Museum and are included in private collections in Ukraine and the United States. Galkin lived and worked in Kharkiv.
